Classic FM, the national commercial radio station, has won two gold medals at The New York Festivals International Radio Competition. The station collected awards for Best Use of Comedy for Alan Mann’s Fantasy Footnotes and for Best News Anchor for John Brunning.
The success follows Classic’s victories at this year’s Sony Awards when it won prizes for Services To Broadcasting and music coverage.
