Classic Raises Rates Following Success

Classic FM has announced that it is to raise its advertising rates by 25% as of today following recent RAJAR figures which claim that the station has increased its weekly reach by 5% to 4.5 million adults.

Classic reveals that it will introduce 11 new transmitters during 1993, raising its reach from the current 81% to 86% of the UK population – hence a probable increase in listenership by the end of the year.

Nigel Reeve, sales director of Classic FM comments, “If agencies are custodians of clients’ money then they have to make it work harder. Classic FM’s rate policy and ABC1 audience will certainly achieve that”.
