Bauer Advertising digital sales director Bruce Daisley has left the company as part of ongoing redundancies at the publisher.
Sales director of magazines Jason Trout has also left the company as part of a wider restructuring of the publisher following its purchase of Emap in 2007.
Bauer purchased Emap’s magazine and radio divisions for £1.14 billion last December (see H Bauer Buys Emap’s Magazine And Radio Divisions).
Daisley said that it was a joint decision for him to leave the company as it looked for cost savings, adding that he would take the summer off although he is in talks with companies about taking up a similar role.
Trout joined Emap in 2002 as head of market for Bauer’s men’s magazine portfolio before being appointed to sales director of magazines last year.
Paul Keenan, CEO of Bauer Consumer Media, said, “As part of our plans to reshape the business, simplify how we operate in the media marketplace and how we deal more directly with the customers we serve, Jason Trout, sales director – magazines, and Bruce Daisley, sales director – digital, are to leave the business.”
