Dennis Publishing is to launch its current affairs magazine, The Week, in Australia at the end of October.
The magazine covers opinion and commentary on national affairs and business, as well as sport, food, travel, health, gossip, property and arts.
Kevin O’Connor, managing director of the UK edition, said: “The Week has been a huge success, having secured a record 20 consecutive circulation increases in the United Kingdom.”
He added: “The Week is now a global brand and has the potential to achieve similar success in the Australian market.”
The Week was launched in the US six years ago and has since reached a circulation of over half a million, growing 165% from its base circulation, said Dennis.

In the latest ABC release, Dennis reported a total circulation of more than 150,000 copies.
