Disney UK launched its integrated media solutions initiative Disneymedia+ at an event in London yesterday.

A new London-based team has been set up to provide media and marketing partners with a single point of contact for multi-platform promotional and advertising opportunities across the full Disney network.

The service promises “tailor made packages and bespoke plans”, according to the launch team.

Disneymedia+ is aimed at developing Disney’s marketing contacts outside of the US. At yesterday’s launch, the team used examples of sponsorship opportunities around Disney parades – the street shows which have been successful outside of the UK.

Peter Fitton, senior vice-president and general manager, ad sales & promotions for UK & EMEA, said: “Disneymedia+ brings all the magic of Disney to our advertisers and partners by creating unique experiences that connect relevant trusted products and brands to our engaged audiences.”
