Elle Secures Levis For Style Award Sponsorship

Hachette Filipacchi’s flagship fashion title, Elle, has secured Levis to sponsor its annual style awards.

The sponsorship deal follows Levi’s support for the Elle/Levi 501 commissioned exhibition of Helena Christensen’s first solo photographic exhibition.

The six-figure sponsorship deal will launch in January and will run in issues throughout 2004. It will include a joint event logo, editorial presence, two new Levi’s awards and branded presence at the event.

The awards, now in their 7th year, will take place in February 2004 as part of Spring Fashion week. Last year the event was sponsored by Wella.

Commenting on the partnership,Sarah Bailey, editor of Elle, said: “I’m delighted that we will be working with Levi’s for Elle Style Awards 2004. Elle and Levi’s are both huge global brands with powerful fashion heritage so it’s a great fit!”

Elle recently secured American Express to sponsor a special talent search in conjunction with its current ‘long live dreams’ ad campaign (see Elle Secures American Express For Fashion Partnership).
