Emap Advertising has secured a deal with Davidoff to promote its new Echo fragrance with a range of branded Kiss 100 events and club promotions.
The campaign, which begins this month, will include on-air promotions, a sponsored club night and a special event at Selfridges, where Kiss 100 DJs will perform an exclusive live set for shoppers.
The club night at the Cookies & Cream venue in London will be pre-promoted on Kiss 100 with special ticket give-aways offering listeners a VIP evening at the club.
Kate Lee from Emap Advertising Broadcast Innovations, commented: “This is an ideal example of Emap Broadcast Innovations working at its very best to deliver our clients objectives, through bespoke activity on and off air.”
Beatrice Boue, a media planner at OMD UK, which negotiated the campaign, added: “This campaign will help Davidoff Echo stand out in a cluttered male fragrance market and adds credibility by targeting urbanite men in their own environment”
In other radio sponsorship news, Classic Gold Digital recently secured a six month deal with Danish Bacon to sponsor Tony Blackburn’s new weekday breakfast show (see Classic Gold Digital Secures Danish Bacon Deal).
