FHM Takes High Street Honeys To Sky

Emap has announced a major deal with Sky television, which will see its “High Street Honeys” competition broadcast as an interactive show.
“High Street Honeys” is a long running campaign in FHM to find an unknown girl-next-door to feature on the front cover of the men’s lifestyle magazine (see FHM Goes Head To Head With Loaded).
The 1 hour interactive TV special on Sky One will feature the final stages of the competition, in which viewers will be invited to vote for a winner from the final ten. Sky viewers will then be able to see the results of the interactive vote in a follow-up show.
There will also be another show in the new year which will feature the global FHM Bikini Heaven competition, where the winner of “High Street Honeys” competes with other young ladies from around the world. RDF International is handling world-wide distribution of the show.
Sky’s director of broadcasting and production, Mark Sharman, commented: “This is an exciting development for Sky One. FHM is a natural fit with a large segment of our audience and I’m looking forward to some great shows and an ongoing relationship.”
The competition also has an online offering in the shape of “High Street Honeys uncut” online, which is FHM‘s first foray into paid-for online content (see FHM Moves Into Paid-For Online Content).
