Freeserve Unveils New TV Ad Campaign
![]()
Freeserve has launched the second TV ad campaign in its “Freedom Of The Internet” promotion to raise the profile of its online and offline brand.
Freeserve’s managing director Keith Hawkins, said: “This is the second TV ad execution in Freeserve’s campaign, which is extremely powerful for consumers. Our last campaign was a huge success and we are confident this campaign will build on that growth.”
The first phase of Freeserve’s “Freedom Of The Internet” campaign was launched last November and featured a group of nudists engaging in outdoor pursuits (see Freeserve Launches Ad Campaign). The campaign attracted a raft of complaints to the ITC with viewers claiming that the ads were “distasteful” and “offensive” (see ITC Receives Freeserve Ad Complaints).
The campaign was unveiled yesterday and compares the difficulties experienced by two hippies trying to catch a bus with the ease of connecting to the internet via Freeserve.
The campaign was created by M & C Saatchi and will run nationally across terrestrial and satellite channels in a burst planned by Walker Media. The main promotion will be supported by cross media and direct marketing activity as well as a series of in-store promotions.
