Hi-Tech Brings The World Cup To Washrooms

Washroom poster contractor Hi-Tech Solutions is launching a series of special World Cup advertising packages to target sports fans during this summer’s event.
As part of an initiative to capitalise on interest in the tournament the company has exclusively selected washroom poster panels in outlets that have been granted special opening hours to show live World Cup matches. The packages will be available from June and will each consist of 1,200 washroom poster panels, which can be accompanied by branded beer mats, glasses and matches.
Richard Weir, marketing manager at Hi-Tech Solutions, said: “Pub traffic increases significantly during the World Cup. Our washroom poster packs are going to be the best way to hit jubilant masses. They are targeted via the live screens but also generically by men and women to ensure no waste.”
Hi-Tech Solutions is the latest in a line of companies to announce marketing initiatives to coincide with the World Cup. Last week Virgin Radio signed a six-figure advertising deal with Fujifilm, to raise awareness of the brand in the run up to the tournament (see Virgin Signs Six Figure Ad Deal With Fujifilm), whilst Rivals Digital Media and Carlsberg have announced plans to launch an SMS information service aimed at football fans (see Rivals Teams Up With Carlsberg For World Cup).
