I-Level Unveils New Corporate Identity
![]()
Digital media agency, i-level has unveiled its new corporate identity, devised by design consultancy Karoshi.
Karoshi won a four way pitch to create the identity. Commenting on the new design, Gavin Ireland, creative director at the company, said: “The original brand logo, untouched since i-level launched in 1999, was well established in the media industry and increasingly so within the communications industry as a whole.”
He continued: “However as the company grew, the variety of applications for the logo increased and these were made without any clearly defined guidelines, resulting in a lack of consistency of the portrayal of the i-level brand to the outside world. We treated the project as a careful brand evolution, and have created a striking and contemporary logo which retains the heritage of the original i-level brand mark.”
Charlie Dobres, chief executive officer of i-level, added: “Our corporate identity is very precious to us. We felt that Karoshi not only understood our company psyche, we were also knocked out by their enthusiasm.”
Karoshi is a London based design consultancy, working in print and screen design, its clients include Channel 4, British Airways and Vogue.
Earlier this year i-level appointed former IPC and Zenith Media director, Faith Carthy, to the position of group managing director (see Carthy Replaces Gutfreund As i-level Managing Director).
