In Your Space To Combat Road Tiredness With Lorry Ads

In Your Space Media has secured the Department Of Transport for a three month lorry advertising campaign to combat tiredness on the roads.

The Department Of Transport campaign will see the “Tiredness Kills – Take A Break” slogan appear on the back of 170 lorries up and down the country from this week.

The posters will feature copy made out of red reflective material in an attempt to ensure that their message gains maximum exposure at all times of the day and night. The creative for the campaign, which was planned by Carat and bought by outdoor media specialist Posterscope, was designed by AMV BBDO.

Commenting on the campaign, Jonathan Bramley, managing director of In Your Space Media, said: “Lorry-back ads are great for targeting people on the move. Red reflective copy on a head-on canvass will ensure the Department Of Transport’s campaign enjoys unrivalled driver visibility.”

Earlier this year, In Your Space Media secured Pioneer to promote its car navigation equipment with a nation-wide truck and service station advertising campaign targeting motorway drivers (see Pioneer To Target Consumers On The Move).
