JCDecaux Sphere Rolls Out With Samsung Campaign

JCDecaux Airport has secured Samsung as the first client for its recently launched sponsorship arm, Sphere.

The newly created division has been working to extend Samsung’s existing ad campaign into an interactive zone at Heathrow Airport’s Terminal three departure lounge. The DigitAll Experience is intended to showcase some of Samsung’s latest products by allowing passengers to interact with them at the terminal before boarding.

The airport campaign launches this week to coincide with the latest phase of Heathrow Terminal Three’s redevelopments and will be followed by similar projects in other airports across the UK and Worldwide.

Commenting on the campaign,Samsung’s UK president, YC Kim, said: “Being part of the terminal’s redevelopment and adding to a positive customer experience for passengers at Heathrow, emphasises the core values of our “DigitAll Experience” campaign.”

Don Sperring, JCDecaux Airport’s managing director, added: “Samsung have a shared vision with JCDecaux Sphere as to how Airports can be used creatively.”

JCDecaux recently secured the advertising contracts for the Gatwick Express and the Stansted Express rail services. The year-long contract covers all internal and external advertising on board all the South East rail-air links managed by Airport Express, including ambient opportunities such as train wraps and headrest advertising (see JCDecaux Airport Awarded Rail Contracts).
