Jetix Launches Planning Tool For Children’s Media

Global children’s entertainment firm Jetix has launched a media planing guide to help advertising planners and buyers effectively target young audiences in the UK and across Europe.

Dubbed Quest, the guide provides planners, buyers and advertisers with a mass of information and insight on young audiences, including lifestyle snapshots, details of school holidays and kids TV viewing information across 17 European countries.

Jetix plans to update Quest regularly to ensure that planners and advertisers are aware of any changes in the media landscape, such as the introduction of new channels and the latest TV viewing trends.

Commenting on the new guide Mel Alcock, executive director of commercial sales and development said: “Communicating with kids across Europe is a complicated business; not only are there numerous languages to contend with, but also different cultures and media habits all within the constantly evolving kids marketplace.”

He added: “Jetix understands the different approaches required to successfully reach and engage kids and shares those insights in Quest. This guide is a must have planning tool for anyone intending to reach kids across Europe.”

Earlier this year saw Jetix enter the British magazine market in collaboration with Future Publishing with a new title based around hit television shows such as Power Rangers, Spider Man and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (see Future Enters Kids Market With Jetix Magazine).
