MAI/Southern Newspapers Profits
MAI, the financial services, information and media group headed by Lord hollick, and owner of Meridian broadcasting company yesterday announced its profits for the year to June 30.
Pre-tax profits were up 13% to £80.2m. Although separate figures for Meridian were not available, it was revealed that Meridian was ahead of budget.
Southern Newspapers recorded pre-tax profits of £7.51m on the 53 weeks ending July 3 1993. This is an increase of 7% on last year’s figure of £7m.
