Mediatel Connected, the UK’s largest aggregator of media research data, has expanded its Twitter TV ratings data to include eight new data sets as it looks to give a more comprehensive view of the social impact of top broadcast programmes.
The daily report, teamed with BARB overnight figures, looks at the top 10 UK television shows as they are mentioned on Twitter – taking into account programme genres, unique authors, impressions, audience and share of tweets.
“The extension of Mediatel’s daily social TV report to include more cuts of Kantar’s excellent Twitter TV ratings data is good news for planners,” said Anne Tucker, Mediatel’s head of research and AV.
“”These additional data sets provide a more detailed understanding into the top UK TV programmes every day, and the ability to communicate that back to clients post-campaign is proving incredibly valuable to subscribers.”
Building on a daily history dating back to Christmas 2012, the latest reports of Kantar Twitter TV ratings are available in the Mediatel Connected data modules.
