Media Sales and Marketing has been appointed by Metro Networks to handle national advertising sales for their newly launched airborne traffic news service.
A total of more than 50 independent radio stations have already signed up with Metro Networks, including the GWR Group, Heart (London), EMAP and East Anglian Radio.
The traffic news bulletins are offered to radio stations in return for airtime. MSM will market these as part of the new sales opportunity called Trafficlink. This will provide advertisers with an opportunity to transmit their message nationally at peak times within the local travel news. All Trafficlink commercials will be solus in break.
