Nickelodeon Launches £1m Campaign

Nickelodeon is to launch an integrated marketing campaign worth £1m to promote the launch of its autumn schedule.
The campaign will run across TV, bus-sides, press and the internet, with SMS and email messages going out to Nickelodeon’s database of 10,000.
Head of marketing at Nickelodeon, Gill Seaton, said: “This is the first time that we have embarked on an integrated campaign across all our platforms. Nickelodeon connects with kids and the campaign reflects this.”
TV ads will be transmitted on Sky One, The Cartoon Network, Fox Kids and Trouble throughout October. Bus side promotions will run in the Carlton, Central, Granada and Meridian region and press ads will appear in Smash Hits, TV Hits, Shout, Mizz and FBX, throughout October, November and December.
The campaign, which uses the strapline “Are You In,” was devised by Mustoe, Merriman Levy. Media buying was by Total Media.
