NTL ‘Tames Technology’ In New £40m Ad Campaign
The telephony and cable company NTL has invested £40 million in the launch of a new brand identity and ad campaign.
The campaign will run for the next ten weeks on terrestrial and satellite TV, national and regional press and radio and regional poster sites. The creative work was put together by JWT and carries the strap-line ‘tame technology’. The campaign focuses on NTL’s attempts to simplify technology and provide customers with ‘unique communications services’.
It is estimated by NTL that 90% of the UK population will have seen the new ads within two days of their launch. The promotions will also be featured heavily on the internet – potentially the highest presence ever for an internet advertiser at any one time in the UK, says NTL.
