Profits at Omnicom, the world’s largest advertising company, rose by 7% in the three months to the end of September, reflecting the general upturn in the global media economy.
The US-based group, which owns the TBWA and BBDO agencies, said that third quarter profits came to $135.3 million, up from $126.1 million a year earlier.
Group income rose by 15% to $2.03 billion, with domestic revenue up 12% and international revenue up 18%.
