According to sources at the FA Premiership, plans to introduce pay-per-view football matches on Sky, have not been made. According to rumours, the scheme was expected to be introduced following statements by Doug Ellis, the Aston Villa chairman.
A Premiership spokesman said: “No discussions have taken place with Sky and any other news is just speculation.”
