RTE Loses Out On Radio Listeners

Local radio is continuing to grow in Ireland, at the expense of the national service, RTE, according to the latest JNLR/MRBI listener survey. Market share for regional radio stations has increase from 39% to 43% compared to a drop in RTE Radio 1 from 39% to 37%. Cork 96FM/County Sound is dominating the market in Cork while in Dublin both Classic Hits and FM 104 have shown substantial increases.
