Saatchi & Saatchi has recorded a pre- tax loss of £595.1m (loss £47.2m) for the year ending 30 December 1992. Trading profit stands at £34.2m (£20.5m) and operating loss at £564m (£20.5m). Earnings per share have fallen to 0.2p from 15.4p in 1991. As predicted, the writedown of goodwill for the group was £600m (Newsline 25/2).
