Saatchi & Saatchi Announce Sale Of Hall Harrison Cowley

Saatchi & Saatchi have announced the sale of Hall Harrison Cowley to a management buy-out team. The deal involves four Hall Harrison Cowley managers; David Fowles, David Heal, John Lawson and Geoff Simmons.

The reason given by Saatchi for the sale was to enable them to concentrate on their core businesses. A spokesman for Hall Harrison Cowley said, “Saatchi & Saatchi agreed to sell the network to a management team because they agree with us that this is the best option for sustaining the business as a whole, and in particular the well-being of the staff.” Asssurances were given that clients would not suffer.

Hall Harrison Cowley is one of the UK’s leading regional advertising and public relations networks, with billings of £42m. It has offices in Bristol, Birmingham, Cardiff, Edinburgh, Maidenhead, Manchester and Southampton.
