Sharewatch: ITV Partners Dip Ahead Of Shareholder Meeting

ITV partners, Carlton and Granada, were seen in focus yesterday, with shares dipping by 1.89% and 1.70% respectively ahead of today’s shareholder meeting. The broadcasters are expected to come a step closer to completing their merger as shareholders officially green-light the deal.

Meanwhile, radio broadcaster, UBC, saw stock hold firm following its attack the Government’s decision to approve the BBC’s digital radio strategy after announced plans to take control of Oneword radio.

Reuters was also seen in focus up 2.08% in anticipation of Thursday’s earnings statement. Reports suggest the environment for Reuters’ customers is improving, along with the capital markets.

The London market dipped lower yesterday following continued dollar concerns. The FTSE 100 fell 0.4% to 4,449.6 with the FTSE 250 down 0.3% at 5,930.4.
