Southern Radio, which provides local radio services to Hampshire, Kent and Sussex, increased pre-tax profits by 24% to £0.96m for the year to September 30.
These results are the first to reflect a full 12 month period for the group since the merger of Southern with Invicta Radio in December 1991.
