Suffolk IR Licence Attracts No Applicants

The Radio Authority has received no applications for the local licence for Southwold in Suffolk. This is the first time a new licences has not attracted a single applicant. A ‘community radio’ group, which had pressed for the advertisement of such a licence, had been expected to apply but withdrew its application shortly before the closing date.
