The Sun has revamped its mobile site with added features including video content and personalisation.

The red-top paper has also boosted the number of editorial sections on its mobile site, adding specialised content such as Rugby League, Music Biz, Scottish content and Sun City, according to reports.

In addition, Bluestar Mobile, which was in charge of developing the site, has overhauled the home page to allow users to navigate via a series of large animated graphics.

A News International spokesperson said: “The Sun has relaunched its mobile site with an improved look and feel and a greater depth of content, which aligns mobile closer to the website.”

Sun Online gained 20,000 unique users over July, reporting a total of 25 million, according to the latest ABCe report.
