Tonight, the free daily London paper which launched in July, is to become weekly from this Friday. The paper will increase pagination to give a total of around 40-50 pages each week; the daily Tonight had 16 pages. The new weekly paper will include a pull-out supplement to the weekend entertainments.
Derek Clee, the publisher of Tonight, is believed to be in talks on the sale of the paper with Manchester business man David Hart. Tonight lost its founding editor Peter Grimsditch earlier in the month.
