Channel 4 Television has set up a new trading subsidiary to sell the company’s films and programmes. Channel 4 International Ltd will take over from Film Four International and the present in-house sales arm Channel 4 International, with Michael Grade as chairman. Existing commercial activities have accumulated an average annual turnover of £10m over the past few years, giving the station a net profit of over £2m.
