Agency estimates put the combined ITV/C4 revenue for June at £184.2m, while Channel 5 brought in £9.7m which is an unwelcome fall from May’s figure of £11m. ITV’s revenue was put at £140.2m while C4’s was £44m, up 3.1%.

It was the London broadcasters which experienced the greatest year on year changes among the ITV contractors, with Carlton seeing an increase in share of 1.57% points to 16.37% while LWT fell 2.18% points to 11.75%, though LWT did have one less trading day this year compared to last. Overall, most of the other franchises showed very small year on year changes.
