VBS Launches First Multinational Online Ad Deal

Viacom Brand Solutions has launched its first online multinational ad deal for Lego which will run across Nickelodeon’s websites.
The deal represents the first time VBS in the UK has done a multinational commercial deal on behalf of Nickelodeon sites in other countries.
As part of the deal, VBS will create a micro site promoting Lego Sport’s skateboarding and snowboarding brands with games, e-cards, downloadables, video clips and a competition. The ad site will launch later this month across Nickelodeon’s UK, Danish, Spanish and Dutch websites.
The campaign was booked through Starcom Motive and www.nick.co.uk has created the banners, skyscrapers, editorial and overlays across all the sites.
VBS recently secured Wrigleys to promote its Orbit Ice White and Hubba Bubba brands across the Nickelodeon and Paramount Comedy channels in a sponsorship deal worth six figures (see Viacom Secures TV Sponsorship For Wrigley’s Gum Brands).
Earlier this year, Viacom Brand Solutions and Viacom Outdoor combined their retail and outdoor advertising offerings with the creation of a new service called Viacom Plus (see Viacom Launches Integrated Sales Service).
