Viacom Outdoor Pairs Adidas With Flora London Marathon

Viacom Outdoor has secured Adidas as the sponsor of the Canary Wharf travel interchange, in a deal designed to coincide with this year’s London Flora London Marathon.
The deal, which was put together by Viacom Outdoor’s special projects team, will see the sports brand dominate the entire station for two weeks following this Sunday’s event, which is expected to attract over 100,000 visitors.
The extensive branding campaign, which will target marathon runners and supporters passing through Canary Wharf and other key Docklands Light Railway stations, incorporates platform banners, vinyl escalators surrounds and a large double-sided glass wall site visible from inside the station and the road.
The creative for the campaign was devised by TBWA London and the space was booked by PHD in conjunction with Outdoor Connection.
Last month Viacom Outdoor secured SE Johnson’s Glade brand as the six-figure sponsor of Earl’s Court Tube station in the run up to the Ideal Home Show (see Earl’s Court Tube Station Transformed Into Glade).
