Yorkshire Tyne Tees Television is likely to join British Sky Broadcasting and Granada in a consortium to bid for the licence for Channel 5, according to Ray Snoddy writing in the FT today.
The decision was taken at the weekend, and means that YTTV is not joining the consortium of Pearson, MAI and CLT. This could leave a hole in the Pearson grouping.
