NYNEX CableComms is screening the Sky pay-per-view boxing match on 3 May using its interactive booking service. Customers will be able to ‘book a seat’ in their lounge via their remote control; this is known as impulse pay-per-view. Other customers can order the event using their telephone.
The evening’s line-up includes Prince Naseem Hamed v Billy Hard, Robin Reid v Henry Wharton and Ronald Wright v Steve Foster. NYNEX are charging £11.95 for the event; there is no extra charge for customers ordering within the last 24 hours.
Sky is also showing the event on pay-per-view; Sky subscribers will have to pay £14.95 if they order within the last 24 hours *A Princely Sum For Title Fight. *Subscribers only
