At the first ever Video Upfronts Marketplace last week, Newsline interviewed popular fashion and beauty vlogger Lily Melrose along with Dominic Smales, managing director of Gleam digital, on the rise of vlogging and the opportunities for brands and advertisers.

Lily is living proof that you can, indeed, make a living from recording videos in your bedroom and uploading them to YouTube. Her channel has secured over 60,000 loyal subscribers in just 6 months and the branding and sponsorship is now proving extremely successful, largely because of the trust the (extremely targeted) audience has in Lily.
