ABC Consumer Jan-June 2013: Home Interest
The Home Interest sector fared slightly better than the Jul-Dec 2012 figures, down just -1.7% year on year (YoY) and -0.8% period on period (PoP).
Ideal Home managed to keep the top spot, seeing a healthy PoP increase of 4% – just short of 200,000 copies.
However it was Style at Home that celebrated the greatest gains both YoY and PoP for a second consecutive period, up 19.9% and 9.1%, respectively.
Country Living and Your Home moved up a few places to second and third, despite both experiencing slight YoY and PoP decreases. Hearst Magazines UK’s Country Living recorded 185,000 copies, while Hubert Burda Media UK’s Your Home secured just short of 129,000.
The greatest YoY loss belonged to sixth position title Homes & Gardens (-8.5%), and the largest PoP loss to second-to-last runner Homes & Antiques (-6.2%).
