The latest ABC Consumer results reveal that the TV Listings market was down -4.5% year on year (YoY).
H Bauer Publishing’s TV Choice was the only title to record both a period and yearly increase in average monthly circulation – up 7.2% PoP and 11.8% YoY to secure an extra 145,000 copies.
The period increases elsewhere in the sector were marginal, however, with TV Times up 2.6% PoP, Radio Times up 2.3% PoP and Inside Soap up 1.7% PoP.
Not such good news for IPC Media’s Soaplife and TV Easy, which were down -10.1% PoP and -7.9% PoP, respectively.
While TV Easy suffered the biggest yearly percentage loss of all the TV Listings titles, down -24.4% YoY, it was What’s On TV that dropped the greatest number of average monthly copies – down almost 173,000 – followed by Radio Times which lost almost 62,000.
