Demand 5 to come to Sony smart TVs

Massive Interactive, a software and design platform for multi-screen TV Everywhere entertainment, has announced the launch of the Demand 5 TV app, available on all 2012 and 2013 models of Sony smart TVs.

Following the delivery of the app on both Xbox One and PS4 a couple of months ago, the Demand 5 smart TV app incorporates an ‘easy-to-use’ viewing experience that has become synonymous with the Demand 5 ten-foot application, with services reaching the largest number of platforms of any commercial broadcaster in the UK.

James Tatam, digital media director for Channel 5, said that the move marks “another milestone in [Channel 5’s] strategy to widen the availability of some of the UK’s favourite shows to as many viewers as possible.”
