SMG appoints new digital strategy director

Starcom MediaVest Group has announced the appointment of Liam Brennan as digital strategy director.

Reporting to the agency’s UK digital director, Isabelle Baas, Brennan will work across all of Starcom’s clients where he will be responsible for driving digital planning, integration, innovation and thought leadership.

Prior to Starcom, Brennan spent four years at Aegis Media as digital director, where he oversaw the accounts for Adidas, ASOS and Red Bull. He has also held digital roles at Carat and MEC.

Commenting on the appointment, Baas said: “Liam is a highly experienced digital marketer with nearly 10 years’ experience and brings with him a wealth of knowledge and best practice to the agency.

“He has a proven track record of leading award winning digital campaigns for clients and we believe he will encompass every aspect of our philosophy to deliver genuine human experiences.”
