Council members will be responsible for deciding how the ABC will develop and maintain its survey methodology and coverage over the next two years. The new Council’s first meeting is on 12 January 2000. Commenting on the successful candidates, ABC chief executive Simon Devitt says: “It’s good to see that the balance of representation has been maintained in the new Council and that all members’ interests, large and small, continue to be represented.”
