Bauer announces senior reshuffle in ambitious digital drive

The Telegraph’s Cathy Ma will take on the role of audience development director.

In an effort to drive digital growth across its portfolio, Bauer Media has announced a number of new senior appointments and promotions.

Cathy Ma, formerly of The Telegraph, Time Inc and Yahoo, has joined the publisher as audience development director, where she will focus on content strategies to grow digital audiences.

Internally, Hanna Rouch has been promoted to digital director, Bauer Xcel Lifestyle, while Alice Farmiloe will take on the role of editor-in-chief, lifestyle, and Ali Wilkinson will become head of radio content.

“We are seeking world-class talent as we unlock a new level of digital performance and targeting opportunities for commercial partners,” said Sam Jones, managing director, Bauer Xcel.

“Cathy Ma, Hannah Rouch, Alice Farmiloe and Ali Wilkinson are celebrated digital talent and bring with them a wealth of experience and a highly creative approach.”

Some of Bauer’s most popular brands include heat, Kiss, Grazia, Empire, Magic and Absolute Radio, with its entire portfolio reaching more than 22 million UK consumers.
