Yesterday’s Campaign/Admap conference addressed the issue of “Classifying People, Can We Do It?, Do We Need It?” The majority of the speakers were in favour of a move away from the traditional methods of classifying people, with some, like Adam Lury of HHCL being more controversial than others, advocating a more enforced move away from the traditional age, sex and class breakdowns. Other speakers included Richard Bedwell, Peter Todd of the MRS, and John Clemens of Continental Research.
