Rebecca Mahony named Media iQ CMO

Analytics and technology company Media iQ has announced the appointment of Rebecca Mahony as its first chief marketing officer.

The company has also announced the relocation of its chief operating officer, Paul Silver, to New York from its London headquarters.

The company said Silver’s relocation will help keep the product and tech teams across London and India in alignment with the company’s efforts in North America. Silver will also help commercial teams in the US “form more strategic partnerships” with Media iQ’s largest clients.

Meanwhile, Mahony will oversee all of Media iQ’s global marketing initiatives and in addition to joining the company’s board as the first female board member, will serve as a board sponsor for WiQ – a Media IQ initiative that “empowers women” and promotes diversity in the workplace.

“I am thrilled to welcome Rebecca to the company,” said Richard Dunmall, president of Media iQ. “She has a proven track record of creating game-changing marketing programs and has delivered excellent results for some of the biggest brands in the world. Her vision for our marketing and communications will be vital to our continued growth.”

Mahony most recently served as the CMO for Teads, where she was responsible for marketing and communication initiatives across EMEA, the Americas, and APAC.

“I’m incredibly proud to be joining Media iQ and to lead an excellent marketing and communications team,” said Mahony.

“This organisation is committed to bringing value to global clients in truly innovative ways, and I look forward to playing my part in the next successful chapter for the company.”
