Publicis Media has appointed Sue Frogley as its new UK chief executive officer. She replaces Amanda Morrissey, who is stepping down as CEO after 18 months to become president of global strategy, Publicis Spine.
As a member of the Publicis Groupe UK board, Frogley will also play a key role in delivering the group’s Power of One model in the UK across the four solution hubs – Publicis Communications, Publicis Media, Publicis.Sapient and Publicis Health.
Meanwhile, Morrissey will be responsible for the implementation and roll out of Publicis Spine’s cloud-based platform PeopleCloud across the Groupe’s key clients. She will report to Steve Simpson, president of PeopleCloud.
Iain Jacob, CEO of Publicis Media EMEA, said: “In Amanda and Sue we have two formidable and dynamic leaders and I am delighted they have taken on these vital roles as we continue to transform and deliver against our Power of One vision and model.
“Our cross-hub approach is a unique proposition in the marketplace and I know that they will both build on the momentum we have created and further accelerate our future success to the benefit of our clients and partners.”
The appointments come in the same month Paul Frampton steps down as UK and Ireland CEO of Havas Media Group, chief executive Tracy De Groose leaves Dentsu Aegis UK and Pippa Glucklich steps down as CEO of Starcom.
