Translucis Signs Red Square For 5 Week Deal

Translucis has signed drinks brand Red Square for a five week campaign on its plasma screens in bars and clubs over the Christmas season. Fran Draper, brand manager for Red Square, said the choice of media was in order to get at customers “in an environment and at a time when they are relaxed and receptive to our messages.” She went on to say “Our aim is to get Red Square talked about and hopefully ordered.”

The 30-second ad, which shows party goers in various international locations, will play four times an hour on the Magnetic channel across the national network of screens during Christmas and the New Year. Halewood, the company behind the Red Square brand, is planning support in the form of sponsorship and promotional activity.

Recent research by Translucis backs up its claims that the screens are effective at reaching the 18-24 year old market (see Translucis Turns On 18-24 Year Olds) and the company says that one year from launch (see No Chance Of A Quiet Pint As Translucis Targets 18-24 Year Olds In Pubs) it now reaches one million young consumers per week.
