BlowUp Launches Airframes
BlowUp Media is launching an inflatable giant poster format called the BlowUp Airframe.
The mobile Airframe has a PVC vinyl body attached to a rigid frame and can carry ads between 120 and 168 square metres. The Airframe has three advertising facades that are designed for both portrait and landscape shapes and can accommodate all standard formats.
The Airframe, which can be erected in an hour and is not dependent on facades, scaffolding or other constructions, has been designed for road shows, exhibitions and trade fairs.
Managing director of BlowUp Media, Mark Bracey, said: “This brings a completely new dimension to mobile sites and also gives our advertisers more options, since many of our traditional sites are now booked up for months ahead. We believe that we can build up an Airframe network to match our current portfolio of scaffolding, wraps and permanent sites across the country.”
In addition to short term projects the Airframe, which BlowUp claim can be set up anywhere in a shorter time than any other mobile site, is also designed to be used for normal 14 or 28 day campaigns.
The launch of the Airframe format comes less than a week after BlowUp announced that it is increasing the scope of its national network by opening a new office in Birmingham (see Blow Up Opens In The North).
