Specialist data and analytics agencies merge to form STRAT7

Specialist agencies ResearchBods, Bonamy Finch and LiFE have partnered to launch a new ‘data driven’ strategy group, STRAT7, to answer a “growing need” among businesses looking to extract and interpret new customer insights in “increasingly compressed” time frames.

Backed by private equity firm Horizon Capital, the merged group has retained global brands including ASDA, Coca-Cola, Disney and ITV. Barrie Brien, who has been non executive chair of Bonamy Finch since April 2018, will lead as CEO, working with the management teams of all three agencies.

“Data is the key to making better-informed strategic decisions. But in a world where always-on customers produce vast amounts of data 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, it is becoming challenging for organisations to harness information at scale – let alone apply these insights to increasingly complex businesses at speed,” Brien said.

“That’s why we’ve created STRAT7. We saw an opportunity to bring together best in class specialisms that span the range of data services to help organisations deliver data for decision making.”

STRAT7 claims to have combined three inter-connected streams of expertise: customer data and intelligence through ResearchBods; advanced enrichment and analytics through LiFE; and strategic interpretation through Bonamy Finch.

The group has offices in London, Leeds and Surrey.
