If the take-over deal between TVS and US company International Family Entertainment gets the go ahead TVS directors will gain over £1.5m in compensation.
The directors in question would include managing director Anthony Brook and chairman Rudolf Agnew who between them will clock up an estimated £850,000 if a settlement is reached. The compensation will cover five-year contract agreements which will be broken when IFE takes over the station.
Final decisions over the buy out will not be made until the end of November.
