The Trade Desk highlights strength in CTV and retail data

The Trade Desk’s founder and CEO has hailed the rapidly growing market for connected TV advertising as “transformational” as the adtech giant reported 31% revenue growth in its latest quarterly earnings.

Jeff Green also singled out the value of retail media as more retailers build their own commercial media platforms.

The Trade Desk reported $395m in revenue in Q3 2022, and $1.09bn in the nine months up to 30 September 2022.  Looking forward, it has forecast revenue in Q4 to hit at least $490m.

Recent Q3 earnings for digital media owners, such as Meta, Google and Amazon, have been well below the large growth figures recorded in recent years.
